Posted by mennonitequiltcenter on Monday, May 28th, 2012
Dear Friends of MQC,
Here is a quick update of things happening at the Mennonite Quilt Center. Our fantastic volunteers are working hard to make 2012 our best year ever.
- Be sure to sign up for several of the 17 classes offered this summer at the MQC. Not only are these great learning experiences but terrific times of community, as well! (Click here for more information.)
- If you haven't yet "Liked" the MQC on Facebook click here
and receive 10% off your next purchase! (Offer is good through July 5.)
- Save the dates for our Biggest Ever MID YEAR SALE: July 6, 7, & 8! There will be hundreds of specially priced fabrics, quilting supplies, and much more.
- Please consider getting involved in the MQC volunteer community as a quilter, by helping in the Quilt Center store, assembling resources for global relief, or weaving our one-of-a-kind denim rugs. 100% of your efforts go toward world relief. Please stop by, call us at (559) 638-3560 or email us at quiltcenter@mcc.org to express your interest in being part of the MQC volunteer community.
Thank you for your support!
Your Friends at MQC.
P.S. Below is a photo of special quilt you will appreciate. Our quilt center manager, Ilone Kasdorf, is in Switzerland taking part in Mennonite Central Committee meetings and saw this quilt made by American and Swiss quilters with fabrics from all over the globe. It was presented to former Mennonite World Conference General Secretary Larry Miller.
