We have new windows!

Posted by mamagrande on Monday, November 29th, 2010

I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

It is a time to reflect on what has transpired throughout the year.  As Americans we are strong!  When the winds try to break us we just bend but we pop right up.  When the river rises and the financial crises wants to sweep us away, we grab a branch and just hang on.

On another note....

If you have not been to downtown Reedley recently then you don't know.  Don't know what?  Well, first you might just walk by and ask were did they go?  That is because we have a new look.

We have new windows.. and boy does it look different.  Some people walk in, look around and say "there is something very different but I can't figure it out".

I will soon post a picture because they are not finished with the windows yet.  There is still signage missing but just remembet we are next to Chase bank.

World Handcrafts has a supply of Advent calendars with milk chocolate behind each window and on the back of the window is a part of the Christmas Story.  What a wonderful way to instill in your loved one the real reason for the season

Come and check out the very cute nativities, tree ornaments and of course don't forget those wonderful jams and jellies.  We have some very useful baskets that you could fill and take to your grandmother, she could then use it for her knitting, sewing or bring back to you filled with her homemade bread.

If you don't know exactly what to give, a good idea is always a gift certificate.  They can come in and take their time to get what they want or need.

Oh, don't forget, we will have a story lady in the store in Nov 29, 30,Dec 1 at 3:30 and after the Electric parade on Dec 2.  She will then be reading every Tuesday at 3:30.  Bring your child or grandchildren to enjoy some of these wonderful stories.
