Mennonite Quilt Center
On Monday mornings ladies gather at the quilt store in Reedley, California to spend the morning quilting, tying comforters, having coffee, sharing recipes and problems, but mostly having fun. The quilts that are made are displayed in the quilt museum upstairs. These quilts plus others that are donated are auctioned at the annual Mennonite Sale and Auction held at Fresno Pacific University in April.
The store has about 1,000 bolts, in a wide variety of fabrics and many sewing notions as well as handmade quilts and comforters. A large number of the handmade quilts come from Southeast Asia. This is a job creation program helping women provide for themselves and their families.

We welcome tours to our shop where we show people how quilts are hand quilted, comforters are tied, and rug weavers make rugs out of recycled blue jeans.
